Help People like Albertine Find Healing and Hope

In communities where healthcare can be difficult to access—and where stigma runs deep—local pastors are stepping in to change lives. That’s exactly what happened for Albertine Tuyinama, a mother of four in the DRC who suffered silently with the pain and shame of lymphatic filariasis for over a decade.
Thanks to training provided by Hope Rises International, a local faith leader recognized Albertine’s symptoms and referred her for medical care. Through the team at IME Kimpese, she received bandages, self-care supplies, and dignity. Today, the pain is gone. The shame has lifted. “There’s no stigma now,” she says. “It’s a big difference.”
With your gift, more pastors can be trained to see the invisible, reach the unreached, and bring physical healing and enduring hope to those in desperate need.
